The Westfield Public School District, in partnership with families and community, educates all students to reach their highest potential as productive, well-balanced, and responsible citizens who respect individual differences and diversity in an ever-changing world.
Since 2016, this mission statement has guided every facet of District decision making. While the District prides itself on its longstanding Tradition of Excellence, it continues to work to combat acts of racism, violence, and hate. In an effort to hear from and engage the community, the District, in partnership with the Westfield Education Fund, will be sponsoring a year-long community learning series on the topic of racial literacy.
The following survey will be used to gauge important community feedback and to plan future community learning experiences. You will be asked about your needs, your willingness to be part of, and your interest in pursuing anti-racism work in the immediate and long-term futures. Providing your name on the survey is optional, however, your name and e-mail address will be needed if you answer "yes" to wanting to be involved in future events and learning experiences. Thank you for completing this survey.
The deadline to complete the survey has been extended to Friday, January 8, 2021.
